Crossing Alert Pedestrian Warning System
Pedestrian crossings on busy work sites provide a risk area for collisions between people and work site vehicles. An accidental collision generally occurs when a pedestrian is unaware of an approaching vehicle, distracted or unfamiliar with the site, especially in busy and noisy environments.
ZoneSafe Crossing Alert Pedestrian Warning System helps to separate site traffic and pedestrians through audible visual warnings and restricting movement of pedestrians or vehicles.

Often, when vehicles approach a crossing from around corners, blind spots or where there is an obstruction the risk of collision is higher. The ZoneSafe Crossing Alert System has been specifically designed to prevent accidental collisions by warning pedestrians at crossing points of an approaching vehicle.
How Does Crossing Alert Work?

- The forklift has been fitted with a ZoneSafe tag and a Zonesafe unit has been installed on a blind corner emitting a 360° detection zone (this can be adjusted in size from 3 – 9 metres).
- When the forklift drives into the detection zone, an audible visual alarm is set off by the crossing warning personnel of the danger.
- Once the vehicle leaves the detection zone, the alarm will stop.
